iwood panels: A wood based material to the benefit of everyone

Producers, processors and consumers alike benefits from the excellent technical properties of the new wood based material iwood panel. Products made of iwood panels are a benefit also to the environment. iwood panels can be produced preserving natural resources. Contrary to competing products iwood panels can be recycled in an environmentally friendly way. The fact that products of iwood panels will dissolve if exposed to a large concentration of water is important when it comes to recycling them. The panel or object is first shredded, and then dropped into a water bath. All the material that dissolves can be recycled and reused e.g. for fuel pellets. This allows to reduce the amount of potentially hazardous waste from furniture made of conventional particleboards (with glue) by up to 90 percent.
