Baar, 3 October 2003: CTI gives "Go ahead" for second round of research

The good results of the first part of the CTI research project has given base to the "Go ahead" decision of the CTI experts for the next steps. The researcher will now focus more closely on the drying process of boards in the size of about 50 by 50 centimeters.

Wien, 16 June 2003: iwood receives Schweighofer Foundation Award

innovation wood (iwood) has received one of the three supporting prize of the Schweighofer Foundation for its work on the iwood board. The ceremony was held in the Vienna City Hall. The Foundations goal is it to award proofen and new exciting ways to use wood which give benefit to the europeen wood industry. The prize was given first time and shall be given next in two years.

The businessplan of iwood was approved with the cti startup label by a federal commission. The meaning of this label is it, that afther a intensiv coaching and due dilligence process iwood has an approved business concept and is therefor ready to receive venture captial.

Hannover, 7 to 12 April 2003: iwood at the Hannover faire 2003

iwood has presented itself within the exhibition "Technologiestandort Schweiz", hall 018 EG D05, as on out of 10 Swiss Technology Awards 2003 winners. Many visitors at our show have been a prove that iwoods technology is of great interest. Highlights where the visit of Swiss minister Deiss at our stand and a TV presentation on wednesday 9 April 2003 at the NDR. The Hannover Faire ist the worlds largest industry faire.

Zürich, 25 March 2003: iwood receives the ZKB Pionierpreis TECHNOPARK 2003^®

innovation wood (iwood) was awarded the ZKB Pionierpreis TECHNOPARK 2003^® during the jubilee ceremony 10 years Technopark Zürich. The award is endowed with 10'000 times the number Pi in Swiss Francs and was given the 13^th time, the third time together with the ZKB Zürcher Kantonalbank as co-sponser. The price is awarded once a year to one team.

Thanks to the Swiss Technology award iwood will participte at the worlds bigest industry far, the Hannover fair 2003, which takes place from 7 to 12 april 2003 in Hannover.
